Vitalik says AI will become crypto’s new interface as blockchain security pushes down to silicon

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin used a public talk in Singapore on Oct. 6 to sketch out a broader shift in how blockchain systems may evolve over the next two years. His argument was not limited to cheaper transactions or better user experience. He said AI is becoming both the biggest opportunity and the biggest risk for the industry, while modern cryptography, especially zero-knowledge techniques, is opening the door for blockchains to move beyond programmable assets toward programmable data. In that model, users can prove facts without exposing all underlying information, a capability he said will matter more as AI systems collect and process more personal data. Buterin also argued that AI agents may replace traditional apps and web front ends as the main way users interact with blockchains. He described recently updating his ENS through a locally run AI agent that wrote the script for him, without a conventional interface. That shift could remove some front-end attack surfaces, but it also creates new risks, including prompt injection and cases where an AI misunderstands a user’s intent. Looking ahead, he said Ethereum transactions should become much cheaper and more private, while bots may increasingly act as counterparties, developers and even the applications themselves. He closed by extending the industry’s security model to hardware, saying the old phrase 「Not your keys, not your coins」 may eventually give way to 「Not your silicon, not your keys.」

Satori Coin Expands to the U.S. With Physical Bitcoin Collectibles and Self-Custody Tools

Singapore-based Satori Club Pte Ltd has officially entered the U.S. market, bringing its line of physical Bitcoin collectibles to American buyers at a time when interest in self-custody continues to grow. The launch is being coordinated with the company’s virtual sponsorship of Bitcoin 2026 in Las Vegas, where flyers will be distributed during keynote sessions to introduce attendees to its products and custody approach. Satori Coin positions its offerings as a bridge between digital assets and tangible ownership, combining physical craftsmanship with Bitcoin storage or transfer mechanisms. Each coin includes tamper-evident elements and a structured redemption process aimed at balancing usability and security. The current lineup consists of three main models: Chi, Chi Silver, and Gi. Chi is an entry-level product for 0.001 BTC that uses a single key hidden under a hologram and ships unloaded. Chi Silver keeps the same Bitcoin capacity and redemption flow but upgrades the format with 1 ounce of .999 fine silver. Gi, released earlier as the flagship model, is designed for 0.01 BTC and uses a 2-of-2 multisignature structure, NFC-based balance and authenticity checks, and a dedicated redeem kit. The company traces its roots to 2015, while Satori Coin itself first emerged in 2016. Its U.S. expansion reflects broader market interest in tools that emphasize private key awareness, reduced trust assumptions, and direct user control over Bitcoin.
